SSC North America is an American automobile manufacturer founded in 1998, and their new 'Tuatara hypercar' just smashed the world record after it reached an average speed of 509 km/h during a test drive outside of Las Vegas. The Tuatara’s design was inspired by fighter jets and produces 1,750 horsepower using a turbocharged V8 engine.
