Twitter Board has "Consistently been the dysfunction of the company" says Former CEO Jack Dorsey...

Elon Musk Twitter Jack Dorsey

Former Twitter CEO and co-founder Jack Dorsey attacked the company's board of directors in a post over the weekend, just days after billionaire Elon Musk offered $43 billion to acquire the business entirely.

Dorsey was responding to the following tweet when he made his remark, “If look into the history of Twitter board, it’s intriguing as I was a witness on its early beginnings, mired in plots and coups, and particularly amongst Twitter’s founding members. I wish if it could be made into a Hollywood thriller one day.”

Dorsey responded, “It’s consistently been the dysfunction of the company.”

"What I do know for sure is that this old Silicon Valley proverb is grounded in age-old wisdom that still applies today: Good boards don't create good companies, but a bad board will kill a company every time," Dorsey said in response to venture capitalist Fred Destin.

When questioned subsequently if he was permitted to talk openly like this because he is still on the board of directors, Dorsey replied, "No."

This 'dysfunction' has been on display this week as Twitter has adopted a so-called "poison pill" that basically allows all shareholders, except those attempting to buy out the company, to buy newly offered shares at a reduced price - all in an attempt to prevent a highly profitable deal with Musk.

Now if Musk wants to take over the company, he would have to buy the new shares at a higher price, which he might not be able to afford. Despite creating a significant obstacle in Musk's path, the poison pill would not prevent Musk from purchasing the company; rather, it would make it more difficult.

Is Everyone At Twitter So...Creepy?

There's something deeply alarming that the small group of people within Twitter who implemented and now enforce the authoritarian repressive censorship that has plagued the site, have now come into the open and confessed to us all - this business isn't about making a profit.

The core beliefs of Twitter leaders became clear and undeniable when they turned down an offer well above the company's value, because the buyer's belief in free speech would somehow ruin what they worked so hard to built.

With the discovery that profits are not the company's primary goal, we're faced with the alarming truth - Twitter's purpose is the censorship itself.

As disturbing this is to accept, we're left with the only option being that Twitter exists to censor Americans, and the company's financial value is irrelevant when authority over millions of people is priceless.

Parag Agrawal Twitter CEO
Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal

The question now: is the board made up of a majority of mentally disturbed people like new CEO Parag Agrawal? Who immigrated to America as an adult and has since expressed his opinion that rights given to US citizens do not need to be respected on his platform, stating that he's not concerned with Twitter deciding who gets to speak, that doesn't matter when they decide whos speech gets seen.

In other words, opposing opinions are neutralized by Twitter algorithms and human moderation, assuring users never see opinions differing from what Twitter's leadership deems 'the correct opinion'.

Which we must mention, has been a massive disaster as Twitter repeatedly became the world's main disinformation source, ironically by mislabeling true stories disinformation, usually suspending those who told the truth in the process.

Hearing people within Twitter speak with such confidence and conviction about what they're doing while repeatedly failing and becoming what they claim to be fighting, would be funny if it weren't so terrifying.

Musk's Backup Plan?

“If in this case you are not successful in that the board does not accept your offer, you’ve said you won’t go higher, is there a plan B?” Musk was questioned.

"There is" Musk replied, a smile on his face.

But for now, he's not giving any details on what that may be.

Are Facebook's New Glasses w/ Built-In Camera "DANGEROUS"?

Facebook glasses rayban stories
Mark Zuckerberg has announced the launch of the first Facebook smart glasses, the Ray-Ban Stories, which shoots photographs, records videos, answers calls, and lets you listen to music. Given that it must be associated with a phone through Bluetooth, they essentially perform the same functions as the phone in your pocket.

What is the Real Reason for Their Existence? Since Snapchat declined his offer to acquire them, Zuckerberg has been obsessed with ensuring that Facebook gets everything Snapchat has, which is why they appeared shortly after Snapchat unveiled its 'Spectacles' spectacles.

These are unquestionably more attractive than Snapchat's Spectacles. On the surface, the spectacles appear to be the classic Ray-Bans.

The temples are somewhat broader, but the design remains unchanged. They come in a variety of colors and are made of several types of glass. The Meteor model, with transparent glass and an olive green frame, was put to the test at ABC. If you're still not convinced, you can get a degree in optics.

The two photographic sensors on the front, which are perforated and allow the user to shoot images and record movies for up to 60 seconds, are what distinguishes these lenses. Each camera has a 5 MP resolution, and the information they capture is of exceptional quality. Particularly if the lighting is nice. They are not suggested for use at night or in circumstances where there is very little light.

The gadget may be used to make a hands-free call or listen to music. It comfortably satisfies two functions, as we were able to verify throughout the testing. Meta, for example, has made it feasible to listen to music on the device without the sound being hardly audible to the rest of the room. Furthermore, the noise of the surroundings is not separated, which is beneficial if they are used to riding a bicycle or running.

Furthermore, by sliding your finger over one of the pins on the glasses, you may adjust the volume or pick up the phone. Ray-Ban Stories are also compatible with Facebook's virtual assistant, allowing users to ask the gadget to shoot a photo or video simply by saying, "Hey, Facebook..." If you like, you may do it manually by pressing the button on the right side of the glasses.

Requires Their App..

You'll need to download the app - yep, another app - Facebook View, which is available for iOS and Android, on your phone to access the images and movies made with the glasses. This requires Bluetooth pairing with the glasses. When collecting content, all you have to do is put on your glasses and open the 'app,' which will begin the download in a couple of seconds.

Which, of course, brings up the subject of privacy...

Apart from worrying what data Facebook can obtain with the required app, some are dubbing them "Facebook Spy Glasses," implying what may be done if a suspicious individual buys a set.

They don't appear like a camera or a phone, and no one near the person wearing them will suspect they're being watched.

An LED light in the right corner of the front of the lenses illuminates whenever the user is collecting material as a warning to the others. Furthermore, it is impossible to disable. But a simple workaround like... covering it with a piece of tape, will make it disappear.

Finally, it is true that a user with malicious intent can film or photograph third parties without alerting them and without using these glasses. Although it is more visible with the telephone, it is possible.

Facebook RayBan Stories VS Snapchat Spectacle 2
Side By Side Facebook VS Snapchat Smart Glasses

All for a ridiculously high price...

Currently, a pair costs roughly $300 US, which is around $150 more (twice the price) as Snapchat's newest and second-generation spectacles, the Spectical2's.

But, to be fair, the extra cost for Facebook's comes from the fact that you're purchasing a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses, and a side-by-side comparison shows that Facebook's sunglasses do look A LOT better.

I guess I'm not in the target demographic?

I have a GoPro, and there are occasions when I want to film something, but I've never wished my GoPro was strapped to my face. While the convenience of having your hands free is appealing, I can already strap my GoPro to myself, mount it on a tripod, and so forth.

However, if this is the best option for what you're doing and you have the funds, I'd have a look at them before purchasing Snapchat Spectacles.

FINALLY - We Have DoorDash, UberEats and Uber Promo Codes... For EXISTING Users! (2022 Updated!)

Promo Code Discounts For Existing Users Of DoorDash and Uber Eats

There's A New App That Will Give Users A Discount On EVERY ORDER...

If you’re using Uber, UberEats, or DoorDash in 2022, you likely placed your first order using a promo code that was strictly for brand spanking new users. Since then, you’ve spent plenty but haven’t gotten any discounts, like they forgot about existing customers.

Finally there’s an answer for everybody asking when these apps will have promo codes for existing users! It’s about time those that faithfully and frequently get rides from Uber, or food delivered from Doordash and Uber Eats get something too.

The Existing Users Discount Comes Easier Than You'd Think.

All You Need Is This App For iPhone Or Android...

It's called Fluz, and yes it’s totally free — no membership fees ever! you merely use it when ordering your food from Doordash/UberEats, or before you invite a ride from Uber.

Available for both iPhone and Android, and it gives you discounts on EVERY ORDER you make on any of these popular apps, regardless of how long you've been a customer.

Promo Code and Existing Customer Makes A Happy User  doordash existing user discount

Up To 45% Off EVERY Time…

Yep, we’re not talking a few small discount either. This really adds up if you employ these apps often like I do.

At the time of publishing this , the present offer is 20% but I think it goes as high as 38% and as low as 2% (there’s dozens of popular places you'll earn cashback from on here, and it looks like they rotate which of them pay high or low).

Better than Getting A Promo Code As An Existing User of Uber and DoorDash.

The Fluz App Is Quick Cashback Earnings From Dozens Of Popular Places. catch on at https://www.fluz.rocks

Actually Get Your ‘Cash Back’…

You may have wasted time on other apps that used the term ‘cash back’ just to see future discounts  had a limited place to use them.

I’m happy to report, none of that BS here. You’re able to transfer money to your checking account via PayPal — whenever you want… the cash = back!

With No Fees, Ever…

This isn’t some scheme where they’ll let a bunch of individuals join free, then slap a monthly fee on once it’s popular enough. Fluz promises to NEVER charge a fee.

“No transaction fees. No signup fees. No payout fees” - just discounts!

How are they able to give these discounts?

My first concern was — are they selling my personal info?  Not only is that not happening — but they’re actually protecting it. They guard your info with “Bank level-security” AES-256 encryption.

You only got to link your card once then can begin spending at dozens of places earning cash back. Before Fluz, you'd have needed to type in your card to each of them.

They’ve simply arranged partnerships with the businesses you see inside. Apps like this attract smart spenders — the people that search for good rewards programs actually tend to earn extra money. They’re people that are smart with their money, because they worked hard to earn it.

So — existing users of Uber, Uber Eats, and Doordash — enjoy this one! Life isn’t so bad as an existing customer.

Grab your discounts at https://www.fluz.rocks/

Claim Free Google Nest Thermostats, FREE! Plus Monthly Cash Payments - OHMConnect Review...

ohmconnect review as the team reviews OHMConnect

Now people in 3 states can enjoy what the residents of Silicon Valley and the greater Bay Area have for the last couple years, as now California is joined by Texas and New York to claim a Google Nest, or WiFi smart plug and then get paid monthly cash - all free. Learn more as we review ohmconnect...

Now In Northern and Southern California, Texas, and New York...

No longer just for Silicon Valley - the program is now covering the entire state of CA and recently expanded to Texas and New Yotk!

For CA you need to be a customer of one of the 3 energy providers, PG&E, SDG&E or Southern California Edison - so millions more can now participate!

For the other states you'll have to take a look at the OHMConnect site for more details.

City Mayors Partner With Program To Prevent Blackouts This Summer...

Each participating city will be allotted 25,000 free smart thermostats to be distributed to local households who choose to participate.

Oakland Mayor Schaaf said "OhmConnect has created a win-win-win that works for every household. It's free to sign up for OhmConnect. When you sign up, you'll get a free smart thermostat that will reduce your energy use at times of peak demand. Then you will get paid for these energy savings and you'll decrease your utility bill while helping the state prevent blackouts."

San Jose's Mayor is on board as well, with a positive review from Sam Liccardo saying"OhmConnect's free smart thermostats provide an innovative solution to the catastrophic impacts of blackouts throughout California, by relieving the stress on our electricity grid amid spikes of peak power usage."

"Joining OhmConnect, Fresno residents can actually get paid to save energy. Let's do our part to prevent blackouts - and get paid for doing it!"
added Fresno Mayor Dyer.

NBC Local News Says - It's Smart To Sign Up...

Then Participants Will Start Receiving Monthy Cash Payments...

OHMConnect has already paid Californian's $14 million to save energy. That's because the program pays residents for saving energy when the grid is at risk of using dirty power.

Rather than having power companies fire up gas or coal backups - users will receive a text message asking them to lower their usage. There's no penalty if they don't - but there's cash if they do.

If you're located in Northern California, you can claim your freebies and join the program at https://ohm.co/GreenCA

Apple Eve Sports Car: Will Apple's Electric Car Ever REALLY Happen?

Apple's long-awaited electric vehicle has been the subject of a flurry of reports in recent weeks, as conversations with automakers have forced Apple's normal veil of secrecy to unwittingly lift, and now we're getting another sense of how far of a moonshot Apple is shooting for with Project Titan.

Apple appears to be taking precautions to ensure that it is ready. Apple isn't known for entering new markets cautiously, and given how close Tesla has come to attaining the ideal of self-driving vehicles, it wouldn't surprise us if Apple raced Tesla to the punch, developing a consumer Apple Car that's ready to hit the streets on its own as soon as it's permitted.

Web 3.0: The New Internet Is Coming, and It's Bringing These Challenges...

Web 3.0

The trend in internet evolution has been to "decentralize" the internet. Web 1.0 featured company-controlled content, but web 2.0 features company-controlled platforms that host user-generated content. Why shouldn't web 3.0 provide a new platform for content development that is independent of corporate control?

Initially, sites relied on the accuracy of publishers' reputations. Web 2.0 degraded data quality, increasing the effectiveness of misinformation and deception on the internet. Will accuracy checks be included in the agreement to accept machine-managed data in web 3.0? Who makes the choice, what qualifications do they have, and what motivates them to be fact-based rather than pushing an agenda?

Data tampering is a major cybersecurity problem when it comes to data that will be used to train AI...

People can make up inaccurate data to get the outcomes they desire, making AI the largest deception system on the planet. When Microsoft opted to teach their chatbot "Tay" by allowing it to learn from Twitter, fraudulent messages were sent to the computer, training it to be racist.

Consider what a nation-state could do to cause havoc by feeding AI false information or altering word meanings. How will cybersecurity experts identify, block, and erase data intended to deceive?

What happens if our systems rely on data and that data isn't available in Web 3.0?

Today's internet is littered with broken links. Machines will either have to make local copies of everything on the Internet or, as in web 2.0, get material on demand. This could lead to a greater reliance on the availability of systems over which IT staff have little control.

The trend in the evolution of the internet has been to "decentralize" the web. Web 1.0 consisted of company-controlled material, whereas web 2.0 is made up of company-controlled platforms that host user-created content.

Shouldn't web 3.0 give a new platform for content creation that isn't controlled by a corporation?

Ready or not, we will soon see what form web 3/0 will take, and what flaws it will bring with it.

The Tough Smartwatch That Could Beat Up Your Apple Watch - Garmin Fenix 7 Review

The Garmin Fenix 7 is for anyone who enjoys competing and wants to push themselves to new limits, whether it's a cycling sportive, a half marathon, an Ironman, or the grueling sweat of a CrossFit competition. The Fenix 7 doesn't assume you've already figured out a whole training schedule and how to balance work and rest — instead, it provides tools to help you analyze your current fitness level, establish a realistic goal, and train in a way that will help you reach it.

It includes the same powerful workout tracking and training tools that helped the Fenix 6 become the best multi-sports watch in 2019, as well as some new features that make it more accessible to new users.

The addition of a touchscreen is the most evident enhancement here. The watch retains the five physical buttons found on prior Fenix watches (including a newly reinforced start button), but it's a tremendous assistance when it comes to panning through maps. However, it's been done with caution; the screen is locked by default during workouts to prevent accidental button presses, and Fenix purists may turn off touch completely if they choose.

FPT INDUSTRIAL AT CES 2022 in LAS VEGAS - Showcasing Future Mobility and Sustainability...

FPT CES 2020

The world’s largest manufacturer of low-environmental impact industrial engines, FPT Industrial, joins the world’s most innovative trade fair, CES 2022 in Las Vegas, to showcase its revolutionary concepts for future mobility and sustainable industrial transport.

The Brand’s new 2200 sq ft stand is organized into four Innovation Areas, each dedicated to the most advanced technological solutions for a sustainable energy transition in its business segments: on-road, off-road, marine, power generation engines, and powertrain systems.

A city with many tall buildings

Description automatically generated with low confidence

The electric axle suitable for heavy-duty, 4x2 / 6x2 44-ton GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) semi trucks is the star of the On-road Innovation Area. Delivering high performance (840kW) and outstanding efficiency (>92%), the e-axle for HCVs (Heavy Commercial Vehicles – Class 8 Trucks) has been developed thanks to the joint-venture between Nikola, IVECO and FPT Industrial for the version of the NIKOLA TRE BEV, the first units of which will be delivered in the US in 2022. The On-Road Innovation Area will also have the e-driveline and energy storage offering on display, showing how FPT Industrial is contributing to developing the powertrain of the future.

The Off-Road Innovation Area will be showcasing the F28 Natural Gas engine and its application on the first vineyard tractor to run on bio-methane. FPT Industrial and Fontanafredda, a historic winery in the Langhe Region (Piedmont, Italy) founded in 1858, teamed up to produce the “Vigna La Rosa cru” Barolo wine, which is included in the Wine Spectator’s Top 100, with this innovative CO2-neutral tractor.

The Marine Innovation Area features a totally new and extremely innovative Hybrid Electric Marine Propulsion System Concept for leisure and commercial vessels. Fruit of the collaboration between FPT Industrial and the Italian startup Sealence, the Concept incorporates the FPT Industrial N67 570 EVO biodiesel engine, which is coupled with a variable-speed permanent-magnet electric generator, used as a range extender to recharge the battery pack. The range extender and the battery work together to provide maximum energy to the electric DeepSpeed Hydrojet developed by Sealence. The result is one of the most efficient, effective, environment-friendly and quiet-running – when operating in full electric mode – marine propulsion systems.

Playing a primary role in the decarbonization process of agriculture through biomethane is the manifesto of the Power Generation Innovation Area, featuring the world’s first variable-speed, hybrid, multi-mode genset concept, developed entirely by FPT Industrial.

The new Smart Hybrid Hub is based on the first F28 variable-speed, low-pressure methane engine for Power Generation, fueled by biomethane obtained by the anaerobic digestion of agricultural waste and cattle slurry. The aim is to create a sustainable, net-zero-carbon circular economy, enabling farmers to become ‘Energy Independent’ from fossil fuels and able to generate additional revenue streams deriving from biomethane surplus sales.

FPT Industrial’s partner in this project is Bennamann Ltd., a fast-growing British agricultural technology company in the field of clean energy, specialized in the supply and production of net-zero biomethane from organic waste.

ABOUT FPT:

FPT Industrial is a brand of CNH Industrial, dedicated to the design, production and sale of powertrains for on-road and off-road vehicles, as well as marine and power generation applications. The Little-Known MULTI-BILLION Dollar WAR Between Cell Phone Providers Over The Airwaves Needed To Broadcast 5G...

5g networks

Midband spectrum is vital for 5G installations because it provides regional coverage as well as the ability to transport enormous volumes of data. This combination is particularly enticing to telecom behemoths looking to expand their spectrum holdings.

According to some estimates, the desirable frequency might be valued as much as $60 billion. However, the ultimate total exceeded all expectations, raising more over $81 billion for the US Treasury.

The top telecom companies in the United States dominated the FCC's most recent 5G spectrum auction.

  • Verizon spent the most money on the auction, spending $45 billion for 3,511 spectrum licenses under the name Cellco Partnership.

  • With a bid of $23 billion for 1,621 licenses, AT&T came in second.

  • T-Mobile came in third with a $9 billion offer for 142 licenses.

"This auction reflects a shift in our nation's approach to 5G toward midband spectrum that can support fast, reliable, and ubiquitous service that is competitive with our global peers." the White House said. In a statement, FCC Acting Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel stated.

5G refers to the next generation of wireless technology, which is projected to boost network speeds and improve network responsiveness. The technology might pave the way for applications such as self-driving cars, as well as new AR and VR experiences on smartphones.

Tesla Joins Apple, Amazon and Microsoft, as Company Valuation Break The $1 TRILLION Mark - The 100,000 Vehicle Order That Made It Happen...

Tesla hit a $1 trillion market cap today following news that Hertz car rental is ordering 100,000 cars to buildits electric vehicle rental fleet.

The company joins trillion-dollar market cap companies like Apple, Amazon and Microsoft.

The deal will bring in a reported $4.2 billion for Tesla  - this is the largest purchase of electric vehicles, ever...

News of the deal brought Tesla’s stock to $1,028 by midday, a new record high - a gain of about 13%.

Morgan Stanley’s Adam Jonas raised his price target on Tesla to $1,200 a share from $900 on Sunday. Jato Dynamics said Monday that Tesla’s Model 3 electric sedan became the first fully electric vehicle to top new car sales overall in Europe in September.

The deal with Hertz, which will bring in a reported $4.2 billion for Tesla, is the largest ever purchase of electric vehicles, Bloomberg previously reported.

The cars are set for delivery within the next 14 months and will be available to US customers as early as November.

The deal comes more than a year after Hertz filed for bankruptcy protection during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, as demand for travel and rental vehicles waned.

But now they have new backing, and an agressive comeback plan as Knighthead Capital Management and Certares Management takes over the company.

New Branding Won't Fix Facebook's Old Problems...

Facebook Mark Zuckerberg

Facebook is planning to rebrand itself with a new name as the tech giant comes under fire from regulators around the world over its business practices.

But a new name won't fix their reputation.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg promised to bring Facebook back from the brink during an appearance before Congress. He made it clear that he understands the enormous responsibility the company has as it faces growing criticism from governments and those who question its role.

"The world feels anxious and divided, and Facebook has a lot of work to do — whether it's protecting our community from abuse and hate, defending against interference by nation states, or making sure that time spent on Facebook is time well spent," Zuckerberg told the joint session of the Senate judiciary and commerce committees.

The company said it would use artificial intelligence to proactively identify posts that include hate speech and other objectionable material, allowing Facebook to get rid of them before anyone sees them. The tech giant also hired an additional 3,000 people to monitor hate speech.

Zuckerberg's appearance on Capitol Hill is the latest public appearance for a high-profile tech executive facing bipartisan criticism for how their companies handle user privacy and content. In response to the criticism, Facebook, Google, and Twitter have pledged to hire more people and invest more in security and transparency.

Some of the pressure is coming from Washington. In January, Democrats in Congress released a long list of demands they want to see from the companies and their CEOs, and the demands included implementing new privacy measures, letting users opt out of targeted advertising, and providing more details about how their user data is shared and used.

The companies were already under fire from Congress for the 2016 election meddling during the 2016 election. Lawmakers said at the time they wanted to know more about Russian involvement in the run-up to the election and, specifically. _______

What To Expect At Apple's Next Event....

What should you expect from Apple's Oct 18th Event? Rumor is it's all about new MacBook Pro models, which will have been redesigned with thinner bezels for a larger display.

There has also been hints of 3024 x 1964 and 3456 x 2234 resolutions - which would enable 2x Retina for higher quality images and text. But the most hype may be for the chip that powers it all - the M1X chip, which is the newest and most powerful version of the M1.

Elton John Covers, and Miley Cyrus Sings - With Metallica...

Singer Elton John has confessed he is a big fan of Metallica. If you’re a fan of Elton John and you love the song "Nothing Else Matters" by the band Metallica, then this book is for you. This book is a collection of Elton John singing "Nothing Else Matters".

Elton John is a huge Metallica fan and considers "Nothing Else Matters" to be one of the best songs ever written. The lyrics moved him so much that he recorded a cover of the song and released it on his 2018 album "Revamp". The song has been called a “heart-rending tribute” and a “magnificently tender and emotive cover” by fans.

But it doesn't stop there - in what would be a controversy of seismic importance, the world’s most unlikely heavy metal band, Metallica, and the 21st century’s most outrageous banshee, Miley Cyrus, have teamed up...

Describing the unusual pairing as a “once-in-a-lifetime collaboration,” a representative for “The Howard Stern Show” announced on Tuesday that the two acts would perform a Metallica classic, “Nothing Else Matters"

Nothing Else Matters is a best-selling single of the band. It was written by a person whose previous job was writing book reports. Of course, it’s not really a book about the Metallica and Miley Cyrus alliance.

In a live performance on the Howard Stern Show, Metallica and Miley Cyrus perform Nothing Else Matters together. For the Metallica cover, Miley Cyrus's vocals are paired with the original James Hetfield vocals and she plays a guitar solo to introduce the song. For the Miley Cyrus cover, Metallica's instrumental stems and Hetfield's vocals are paired with Miley Cyrus's vocals and she plays a guitar solo to introduce the song.

Environmentalist Reaches 45 Million Trees Planted Over The Last 4 Decades...

Hart Cunningham

Environmentalist, retired software engineer and musician, Hart Pearson "Sebastian" Cunningham has achieved the impressive feat of planting 45 million trees over 40 years. He aims to reach a trillion trees in his lifetime...

Hart Cunningham is on a mission to plant one trillion trees. In just four decades, he has participated in planting more than 45 million and is now committed to reaching his goal. The environmentalist and musician wants to spend the next 40 years turning 45 million into a trillion.

Hart Pearson "Sebastian" Cunningham was raised by artists seeking a life that reflected well on Mother Earth. Hart's quest to plant a trillion trees began at age 3 in Dominica with local vegetation. At age 5, then living in Nova Scotia, he continued his passion for trees with an apple orchard. By the time Hart was 16, he had planted 740 trees, having joined his Buckley High School Classes of '93 - '95 (152 students in total across three years, including Rashida Jones) to spend 14 weeks planting trees on weekends across California.

Hart spent three terms at The Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington in Seattle. There, he wrote his thesis on "Economics Related to Humanity and Environment" at age 21, continuing his interest in and passion for nature and the environment. He returned to California to finish his Master's in Economics from Claremont Graduate University. He was the youngest recorded to achieve this feat at age 22.

Hart's tree planting increased as his monetary resources grew, and he became the only Ernst and Young three-times 'Entrepreneur of the Year' Finalist. He has continued to strive to plant as many trees as possible throughout adulthood. In total, Hart has funded 19 drone or aerial-focused seed pods, increasing his count to 45 million trees planted in 40 years of service to Mother Earth.

Hart retired from software architecture at age 38. Since taking early retirement, he has run for POTUS (Hart2020) at age 42, with a campaign focused on solving climate change and income inequality globally. Hart is now concentrating on spending the next four decades aiming to reach his lifetime goal of planting a trillion trees. With more time and freedom to dedicate himself to this goal, he is determined to do even more to save and support the environment. More personally, he is also invested in his physical health and wellbeing with a focus on contortion.

Hart can be found on Instagram at @RydermanM, where he shares his thoughts and adventures in physicality, spirituality, travel, and more, as well as demonstrating the benefits of connecting with nature. Hart also spends his time empowering music lovers globally, as musician Ryderman. His music can be found on Spotify and Apple Music. His song 'Stay' has been streamed more than one million times on Spotify.

OnePlus Smart Watch: Generally Not Great... Just Great For The Price...

Matt Miller says the first smartwatch entry from OnePlus isn't as compelling as its smartphones, but for just $159, you get what you pay for. It gets the basics right with a lovely display, long battery life, solid design, phone call support, and more.

Public Trust In Tech Companies Reaches New Lows...

Fortune and Harris' new survey of consumer trust in the major tech companies showed that no company surveyed (Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, and Microsoft) can claim that more than half of consumers entrust them with personal data.

The online survey of more than 2,000 consumers in mid-October found that Amazon topped the list, with 49% of respondents saying they trusted the company with personal data (e.g., browsing history, location data, contacts, and photos).

How The Big Ones Faired...

Google was approved by 41% of respondents, Microsoft was trusted by 40%, and Apple was approved by 39%. Facebook came in last place, with only 22% of Americans surveyed agreeing they trust them with their personal information, and Apple was fourth despite its efforts to position itself as the most privacy-friendly tech company.

48% of those polled said that their perception of the company had become much more or somewhat negative over the past six months, while 17% said that their perception has been much more or somewhat positive.

The public’s distrust of big technology comes at a time when Congress is considering a new, comprehensive federal privacy law.
